A History of Excellence
Adams Abstract Company is a family-owned title and abstract business properly serving Poteau, Oklahoma. The company was founded in 1988 by Loretta Adams, a visionary who saw the need for a consolidated, efficient title service in the region.
Loretta strategically purchased and merged three existing abstract plants within LeFlore County. This consolidation created Adams Abstract, establishing a comprehensive foundation for what would grow into a full-service title company dedicated to handling all real estate needs.
A Family Tradition
For over three decades, Adams Abstract has remained true to its roots as a family business, passing down knowledge and dedication through generations.
The legacy established by Loretta Adams continues to guide the company today. Although she passed in 2023, her vision lives on through her children—Johnie, Sheryl, Sally, and Sylvia—who have been integral to the company's growth and success.
The third generation is also represented by Loretta's granddaughter, Sky Fruen, ensuring the values of accuracy and personal service are carried forward.
Expanding our reach, the family also operates Adams Title Advantage for Latimer County, bringing the same level of expertise to our neighbors.
